A Message from the Principal

Welcome to Bishop Gibson High School for Girls.

At Bishop Gibson, we believe that education should nurture both the mind and the character. Guided by our Christian values and our motto, Per Ardua Ad Astra — Through Difficulties We Attain the Highest, we encourage every young woman to approach her future with confidence, integrity and purpose.

Through academic learning, practical achievement, leadership, sport and service, we seek to help our students discover their strengths, develop independence and recognise their personal worth. Compassion, responsibility and self-discipline remain central to that journey.

Our parents, guardians, staff, past students and community partners all play an important role in supporting our girls. Together, we can help them grow into capable young women who contribute meaningfully to their communities.

I invite you to explore our website, learn more about our school and discover the opportunities available to our students. Thank you for being part of the Bishop Gibson community.
